We took Joshua, our oldest son, to Baptist Bible College last weekend (8/19/11). Baptist Bible College is in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania. He is a freshman there and is in the pre-seminary course of studies. We want to thank those of you who have been praying for this transition for our family. It was good for his brothers to help him unpack and settle in. The boys have been busy using e-mail and skype to keep Joshua informed of all that is going on.
We were also able to share our presentation last Sunday with our home church, Grace Baptist Batavia, NY. They were kind enough to pretend that they did not know us, while we practiced on them. We are thrilled to see God at work in Togo and that the hardest part is to know what to leave out of our presentation. We are so thankful for a church family who is willing to sit through yet another “Kosiorek” presentation and to point out areas that we need to work on.
We are excited for the opportunities that God has been putting together for us to start sharing about Togo in other churches. Eric has been on the phone with Pastors in our area and we are looking forward to visiting them.
Prayer Request:
~ Wisdom and articulation as we start visiting church.
~ That we would represent God well as we start visiting other churches
~ That we would be an encouragement to the churches that we will be visiting.
~ That we would budget our time well, we have a lot of things that we need to be doing for pre-field.
~ Joshua at college. That we would all adjust to this huge life change.
~ That God would provide and that we will use His resources wisely.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
