~Pre-field News~
Littles Details
This coming month there are a lot of little details that need to be taken care of. We have to register both Josh and Caleb for BBC. Caleb will be doing their dual enrollment, which is both high school and college. We also will be setting up Daniel and Michael for another year of homeschool. Brenda still has college classes to finish and both Eric and Brenda have pre-field assignments that need to be completed. We also need to start the process of registering for language school in Albertville, France. Please pray for us as we juggle these many details.
Individual Visitation
We have also been busy visiting individuals and, praise the Lord, 8 new families have become partners in the ministry to Mango! It is humbling to see how God is bringing together a support team of both churches and individuals. We are so thankful that God never calls us to be lone rangers. Please continue to pray the Lord would open the door for us to visit churches, as well as individuals, and that we would continue to raise the support that we need.

Training
We continue to praise God for those who have partnered with us and allowed us to make the deadline for EMC. EMC (Essential Mission Components) is a mandatory class that is only offered once a year at ABWE. In order to take this class we needed our monthly support to be 50% or greater. How amazing is our God to bring us from just 1% this January to 58% today! So this July we head off as a family (with exception of Joshua, who will be working) to EMC.
The purpose of this one-week course is to equip new missionaries for cross-cultural church planting, that leads to national or regional church planting movements, that lead to international missions movements—to the glory of God. Please pray for us as we learn what to expect in an African culture.
Selling of our home
Brenda has been busy getting the house ready to sell. We praise God for the progress that she has been able to make. She is hoping to finish with the major prep work and put it up for sale in Sept. Please pray for the timing of when to put our home up for sale, the selling of our home, and where we will live once it is sold. Also for wisdom as we try to get rid of 22 years of things that will not be going to Africa with us.

Vacation
We will be taking some much needed vacation immediately following our cross-cultural training at ABWE. We are looking forward to a week and a half of tent camping in the Adirondacks at Word of Life. Then we will be heading back to Western NY for a wedding that our 2 older sons are in. Please pray that we
will be refreshed and able to enjoy much needed rest.
Praise-thanks for your prayers!
We are so thankful that God is willing to use our family to point others to him. We had a young man, Trent, who different members of our family have been witnessing to over the years, accept the Lord. Josh was able to pray with him at work and he is now leading him through a Bible study during their lunch break. It is exciting to see when God uses your sons. Josh was also able to preach for 5 Wednesdays this summer and Caleb has been leading a teen Bible study every Sunday evening at church this summer. Hospital equipment!

Prayer Request
~ To be 85% before November to be able to attend Field Prep Seminar (training) at ABWE in headquarters in PA.
~ For wisdom to know when Eric should leave his job at the school and the details around that.
~That God would open the door for us as we look for churches to visit.
~ That God would connect us with individuals who He is calling to partner with us to reach the people of Mango.
~That we would budget our time well – we have many tasks to accomplish, both for pre-field, personally, and home.
~ That God would continue to provide both prayer and financial partners to get us to Togo and that we will use His resources wisely.
~For continued opportunities to be good witnesses now and the boldness to share the gospel.
~ That God would continue working in the hearts of the people of Mango, Togo. And for the missionary team already there and those the Lord is assembling.
Thank you for your prayers and support,
